Our little committee is looking forward to getting to know you! Here’s a bit about us, and why we love the ocean life.
Ashika - Chair
We reckon Ashika is the real-life Wonder Woman. There is nothing she cannot do. She is a kick-ass lawyer, a dedicated artsy and sporty mum, an attentive friend, an unwavering environmental activist, a committed surf club Chair and an awesome surfer to boot. We honestly don’t know how she finds time to do all this (and to sleep)! Keen frother, she is always up for a surf session (or 3!) and her laugh is genuine and contagious! As Chair, she is passionate about supporting women and non-binary surfers to love being in and caring for the ocean!

Liv - Treasurer
Liv, originally from NZ, dabbled with learning to surf on holidays, but has only taken it up ‘properly’ since moving to the Surf Coast during the pandemic. After spending much of her adult life working overseas in big cities, including Toronto, London and Qatar, Liv is loving the experience of living in a small community with amazing nature and great vibes.
Elena - Digital & Marketing Coordinator
She’s the smiling Spanish shredder who spends her days designing products at Rip Curl, and her nights whipping up logos for friends. In-between, you’ll find her carving up the waves at her favourite Surf Coast beach Winki Pop, rockclimbing, zooming around on her new bike or travelling further down the coast in her artfully-decorated van.
